Ground School & Brush-up Courses
At SkyLearner we believe that learning all happens at different rates, and so we specialise in offering Adhoc personalised 1 to 1 Online Instructor Tuition which is targeted towards you as the learner, focused on your weak areas rather than the entire class.
However, we understand that some students prefer learning in a group, and so we also offer some Ground School and Classroom Based Brushup courses.
Private 1 to 1 Online Tuition
Get help when you need it ! Our Premium Online Instructor Tuition is offered on a 1:1 basis, meaning the instructor can focus on you and help you understand the concepts you are struggling with.
If you don’t understand part of our interactive content, you can choose to do 30 minutes on a subject or do the complete subject at your own learning pace. We offer the ultimate flexibility for your learning, to help make you a better pilot.
Brushup Course
Our brushup courses are for those looking to do your knowledge checks offline in a training room, offering you the chance to ask any questions and complete your pre-exam knowledge checks to help both you and us assess, whether you are ready to sit the official examinations.
Whilst students can conduct Tuition and knowledge checks online, our Brushup course is conducted in person at one of our venues.

LAPL / PPL (A) Classroom Brush-Up
Our UK LAPL / PPL Brush-up course is designed for student pilots who have completed the SkyLearner content online but want to complete their knowledge checks and UK CAA examinations into one neat package.
How it works
You MUST have an active SkyLearner Subscription.
- Complete all your Subjects or Subjects you wish to examine & passed all Tests, using the SkyLearner System.
- Book the Brush-up course instead of booking the theory Knowledge Check online.
- Attend the Brush-up course
- Sit the official CAA Exams
Pricing
The Price is £ 665* for all subjects which includes:
- All 6 Days of Classroom-Based Subject Reviews on all 9 x Subjects
- 9 x Mandatory Knowledge Check
- 1st Attempts at 9 x e-PPL CAA exams for the given date

How to book
You must have a valid SkyLearner Subscription to book the Course. Please also note that prior to sitting any exams you MUST have completed the SkyLearner online training course and successfully passed all the End of Module Tests.
You can book via the booking screen displayed at the end of each subject.
Ground School
The SkyLearner Ground School is conducted Online as a series of scheduled group video chats with other students and an instructor. The Ground School follows a scheduled timetable to allow you to work on the SkyLearner system from home, then discuss the modules on a weekly basis.
This differs from our brushup course because we will fully outline and explain the full Ground School theory content. Naturally, this takes more time but helps those who want a full ground school experience from home learn effectively.
Remember if you don’t want to have the scheduled times, you can simply book our online Instructor Tuition instead of a full ground school, the choice is yours.
